Coastal Restoration Consultants, Inc. of Santa Barbara was formed by David Hubbard and Matt James to plan, manage and implement large-scale habitat restoration projects and to develop long-term management strategies for natural reserves. All of our projects emphasize the importance of defining clear restoration goals and using a research-based adaptive approach to attain those goals. Our approach integrates restoration of natural processes with principles of landscape ecology to design self-sustaining projects. We believe that the best projects not only restore ecosystem functions and values but also engage and educate the local community and address the long-term management needs of land owners.
